Phoenix

Later, Phoenix struggles back to consciousness.  He finds his arms tied to a crossbeam above his head.  His arms and shoulders ache from being bound in this position.  His legs are likewise tied to a pole that keeps them separated.  He is essentially held in an X position.

"I see you're awake, my young friend," says Dr. Morpheus as he walks into the room.  "Now we can play a bit."

"I am not your friend," spits back Phoenix who struggles at his bonds.
